Course Description:
This 90-minute presentation will explore the clinical use of ketamine in various service models for treating mental health conditions, including different models, approaches, and routes of administration. It will explore emerging research on the safety and efficacy of ketamine, as well as associated risks, benefits, and who may be an appropriate candidate for these treatments. We will explore some of the leading ideas about how we think ketamine works therapeutically, basic pharmacology, and a brief introduction to ketamine-assisted psychotherapy.
