Social Work Professional Ethics
This workshop is for social workers who provide intermediate, master-level social work, clinical, or psychotherapy. The intent is to increase the social work professional’s knowledge of ethical theories and principles and their application to social work practice.
Self-Care: A Social Work Necessity
This Self-Care Workshop for Social Workers is the perfect opportunity to learn how to care for yourself to better care for others. In this presentation, you'll learn about the theory behind self-care, workplace factors that can exacerbate work fatigue, and how to add self-care into your professional and personal life.
Wellness: A Key Component to Maintaining Competence and Longevity
Wellness/ self-care is now part of the SW Code of Ethics! Wellness components will be identified, discussed and practical ways to exercise these components will be shared with some experiential exercises. People who use SW services deserve providers who are healthy and use SW principles themselves. Let’s give some thought to our own well-being!

Clinical Supervision for the Advanced Board Approved Clinical Supervisor
This workshop for BACS Supervisors offers an opportunity to explore some of the more complex issues that arise in clinical supervision. Workshop topics include the roles and tasks of the supervisor, assessing and addressing deficits, problem solving, documentation, ethical issues that may arise and dealing with termination.
Untangling the Emotional Knots of Anger & Sadness
Our task as Social Workers is to assist those who can not untangle the “knots” of life. This workshop will closely examine the two emotions that sometimes seem to run together: anger and sadness. Together we will untangle them with facts and logic.
Traumatic Life Events: The Road to Resilience
To endure life, we all have had to experience resilience. As Social Workers, we must be able to identify and connect the physical and emotional effects of traumatic life events to understand the concept of resilience. The focus of this workshop will be to address growth and development in both the physical and mental health aspects.
Deepening the Clinician's Understanding of the Enneagram Personality Typology System
This workshop will focus on three key concepts of the Enneagram Personality Typology System (EPS): how the law of three works in all interactions; how to assist clients in recognizing & transforming a disordered need for security, esteem, or control; and how to integrate the three centers of awareness.
Integrating Motivational Interviewing & Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy
This workshop will explore the rationale for integrating MI and CBT into practice and identify the four processes of MI and associated skills to form the core principles for an integrated treatment approach.
