This clinical workshop will focus on three key concepts of the Enneagram Personality Typology System (EPS): how the law of three works in all interactions; how to assist clients in recognizing and transforming a disordered need for security, esteem, or control; and how to integrate the three centers of awareness, including a trauma-informed perspective. Through this training, Social Workers will learn how to apply the law of three when working with clients to resolve issues. Participants will also be provided with tools to aid clients in addressing a disordered need for security, esteem, or control.
At the end of this workshop, the learner will be able to: 1. describe how the law of three works in interactions; 2. apply the concept of the law of three when working with clients to resolve issues; 3. describe how a disordered need for security, esteem, or control can negatively affect quality of life and relationships; 4. equip clients with tools to address a disordered need for security, esteem, or control; 5. describe the function of the three centers of awareness; 6. explain to clients how to integrate the three centers of awareness; and 7. describe how trauma manifests in the three centers of awareness.
