The social work profession has a long history of involvement in climate justice work. The ecosocial lens provides a way of centering this work in current social work practice. The presenters are social work professors and co-editors of a workbook series published by the International Federation of Social Workers (free for download as PDFs on
IFSW.org/shop). The presenters will discuss multiple examples of social workers from across the globe who have embraced climate justice work and potential applications for the audience to consider similar opportunities in their own contexts. This webinar highlights how climate justice work can be integrated into social work education, research, and practice to further community and environmental sustainability.
