    Join us to discuss the burgeoning national movement to end mass incarceration. Social workers will Learn about the role they are able to play in helping to build a new criminal justice system, centered around the lives and needs of people and communities. 

    Objectives:
    • To help the participants better understand the history and implications of mass incarceration and the collateral consequences of criminal convictions.
    • To help the participants understand the unique role they can play as advocates to help end mass incarceration 
    • To help the participants better understand their clients who have experienced mass incarceration as asset to society.
