Join us to discuss the burgeoning national movement to end mass incarceration. Social workers will Learn about the role they are able to play in helping to build a new criminal justice system, centered around the lives and needs of people and communities.

Objectives:

To help the participants better understand the history and implications of mass incarceration and the collateral consequences of criminal convictions.
To help the participants understand the unique role they can play as advocates to help end mass incarceration
To help the participants better understand their clients who have experienced mass incarceration as asset to society.
