The importance of continuing education related to developments within the field and the evolution of experience based verses evidence based treatment considerations. Educational Objectives:- Basic understanding of principles of trauma informed care and their application to social work supervision.
- Overview of trauma specific treatment modalities and understanding of potential ethical and/or clinical considerations when providing supervision.
- How to promote social worker resilience within the supervisory relationship
