Supervision protects clients, supports practitioners, and ensures that professional standards and quality services are delivered by competent social workers. In this workshop, learn how group supervision can be used most effectively to find common practice issues and similar professional development needs to help social workers develop ethical practice skills, competence, compassion, confidence and creativity.
Interwoven throughout the curriculum will be a focus on cultural competency, racial equity, and diversity issues related to staff, clients and communities.
Advancing Skills in Group Supervision may be taken individually or as part of the 10 training modules for which the enrollee may earn the online SLA Certificate.
