This webinar will discuss the importance and value of social workers advocating for and implementing social change for individuals impacted by detrimental social practices and policies. We will discuss ways to forge innovation and creative solutions to address the vast amount of anger, rage, fear, anxiety, hopelessness, oppression, resentment, guilt, and defensiveness that is so prevalent in our society.
    Three learning objectives:
    1. Define detrimental social policies, practices and conditions that negatively impact individuals in our society
    2. Gain awareness, understanding and forge creative solutions to overcome vast amounts of fear, anxiety, hopelessness and anger
    3. Gain inspiration and foster resilience through the use of quotes, conceptual frameworks and strategies to create a more just society
