What are the available course delivery types (formats)? What are the differences between OnDemand and CEtoGo?

    • Zoom Webinar / GoToWebinar* - A live CE presentation, accessed on a desktop/laptop computer or a mobile device for a real-time visual and audio presentation, delivered through a video conferencing platform, such as Zoom or GoTo. It can be joined via the browser or the Zoom/GoTo applications (the latter need to be downloaded to your device in advance).

    • Webcast* - A live CE presentation, accessed on a desktop/laptop computer or a mobile device for a real-time visual and audio presentation, delivered within your CE account through the InReach Viewer. Since these play directly through a browser, without the need to download or install any additional software.

    • Audiocast / Audio Webcast* - A live CE presentation, accessed on a desktop/laptop computer or a mobile device for a real-time audio-only presentation, delivered within your CE account through the InReach Viewer. Unless additional materials from the speaker are uploaded, these courses are audio only without additional visual or video components.

    • External Access*A live CE presentation, accessed on a desktop/laptop computer or a mobile device for a real-time visual and audio presentation, delivered through a video conferencing platform. External access means that the registration for the course can be completed through the CE catalog, however the access information is provided directly by the sponsoring section/chapter. You'll usually find the contact information for the sponsoring entity in the course description.

    • OnDemand / Self Study / Online Seminar - A pre-recorded program accessed on a desktop/laptop computer or a mobile device delivered within your CE account through the InReach Viewer; typically video with audio, or a slide show with audio.

    • CEtoGo / Podcast - An audio-only program that can be downloaded and listened to on your mobile device or on your computer, without active internet connection. In order to receive credit, you must verify your participation with a unique participation code that is announced during or after the conclusion of the program.

    • Online Articles / Publications - A document or article that can be downloaded and read, usually in the PDF format.

    • Video Replay - A re-broadcast of a past seminar at a specific date and location; these are in-person events.

    * Please note that we strongly recommend joining the live events 10-15 minutes in advance to allow time for troubleshooting without missing out on any portion of the program.

I'm having an issue with ESPEC Orientation module, it won't complete.

    1. If you've watched the video, but the SCORM will not complete, return to the course video by clicking the green "Play" button. Click "Resume" to reopen the course at the last slide. Click the "Help" button in the top-right of the window. Here, click on each highlighted item and the Yes/No box in the middle of the screen. Once you've interacted with each of the clickable objects, close this window and the video player.
    2. Click "Get Certificate" under the module title, and your SCORM should now be complete. Click "Get Certificate" at the bottom of the window, then select the only option in the drop-down menu at the top to generate a page stating you've completed the module. Close this window and the module status on the main page should change from "Incomplete" to "Complete."

    Technical

When I click on the "Play" button, nothing happens. What should I do?

When you click the green "Play" button, it will launch the viewer in a new window or a Zoom link in a new window. If you are clicking this button and nothing is happening, more than likely the viewer window is already open. Please check all open and/or minimized windows.

What should I do, if I'm getting the M3U8 error while trying to access a course?

This error usually occurs because the network security settings are blocking the participation tracking software embedded into the program (the tracker which keeps count of how far you've progressed into the video). In most cases, if you encounter this error, you can bypass it by accessing the course using a different internet connection (for example by logging into your CE account on your cellphone). If that is not an option for you or switching to a different network didn't resolve the error, please reach out to our support team at support@inreachce.com or 877-880-1335 (between 7am and 7pm Central time, Monday-Friday) for further guidance.

Only refer to the following steps after contacting our support team, and at their specific instruction.

In the event of the M3U8 error, our support team will need to investigate whether the error is impacting an individual user or a larger population. When instructed, provide your workplace IT team with the following list of URL addresses to be whitelisted.
