Reimagining Your Relationship with Money: A Path to Financial Wellness 1 CEU - May be counted as Clinical Presenter: Constance Janelle McConnell, LCSW, Certified Financial Social Worker
Ever wonder why the same people who receive the same paycheck spend their money so differently? I did. With over 12 years of experience as a social worker and working with individuals to explore their finances, I decided to start a private practice that focuses on those two passions. I believe in client-centered care through supporting clients as they explore their self-identity and relationship with money. During our time together, we will go over some financial statistics about Americans , journal your first reflection around your relationship with money, learn what certified financial social workers are and how we help people make better decisions with their money.
Learning Objectives 1. Explore general statistics on how Americans spend money 2. Explore certain aspects of their relationship with money 3. Explore what financial social workers are, what we do and why we are needed
About the Presenter Constance is a LCSW, author of “My Very Own Affirming Guided Journal A-Z”, business owner and creative who specializes in working with individuals who are experiencing major life changes. She is also a certified financial social worker and helps clients who want to improve their relationship with money. She has practiced for 12 years and most of her clients are a part of BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities.
