Upon completion, participants will be able to:

    1. Explain why repetition and predictable session structure are more developmentally appropriate — and neurologically effective — than novelty for children ages 3–8.
    2. Implement a simple, 3-part session structure (regulate, teach, practice) to create consistent, effective sessions across clients.
    3. Identify and apply developmentally appropriate behavior support tools that align with the session structure to promote skill-building and behavior change.
    4. Analyze behavior challenges through the lens of session rhythm and flow, and understand how structure reduces chaos and supports regulation.
    5. Integrate “micro-moments” of regulation into sessions using short, proactive strategies.
