Upon completion, participants will be able to:

Explain why repetition and predictable session structure are more developmentally appropriate — and neurologically effective — than novelty for children ages 3–8.
Implement a simple, 3-part session structure (regulate, teach, practice) to create consistent, effective sessions across clients.
Identify and apply developmentally appropriate behavior support tools that align with the session structure to promote skill-building and behavior change.
Analyze behavior challenges through the lens of session rhythm and flow, and understand how structure reduces chaos and supports regulation.
Integrate “micro-moments” of regulation into sessions using short, proactive strategies.
