Description
Now more than ever, social workers are being called upon to lead and champion efforts in Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI). While there are some well-established best practices connected to leadership and JEDI efforts, there are some other more non-traditional role models to also look towards in this space who have become experts in the ability to create inclusive environments and promote representation within their communities. In this interactive session, participants will gain valuable insights into the importance of representation and inclusion in the workplace. This session will explore practical strategies and real-world examples to help effectively lead diversity initiatives, overcome challenges, and create a culture of belonging and representation. As we look towards one particular role model in how to effectively lead efforts in representation and inclusion, we’ll be exploring these topics “Taylor’s Version”.
