  Description

Synopsis: Positive social connections play a vital role in emotional regulation, resilience, and overall mental health. Yet many clients struggle in relationships shaped by early attachment patterns that continue to influence how they engage, manage conflict, and seek support. In this interactive online workshop, participants briefly review core attachment styles and explore how these patterns show up in therapeutic relationships. The central focus of the session is the Social Network Diagram, a practical and adaptable tool for mapping and strengthening relational patterns. Through concise teaching and guided experiential exercises, participants learn how to use this paper-and-pencil intervention in clinical practice. They will also observe a brief action demonstration illustrating how it can move from assessment to experiential insight through psychodramatic role-play. Participants leave with a concrete, immediately applicable tool for deepening connection and enhancing relational awareness in their clinical work.
Learning Objectives: At the end of this training, participants should be able to:
1. Explain the role of attachment patterns in shaping adult relational behavior and therapeutic dynamics.
2. Identify the four primary attachment styles and recognize how they may present in clinical practice.
3. Describe the structure and clinical application of the Social Network Diagram as an assessment and intervention tool.
