    This webinar will explore the intersectionality of Black Lives, specifically those in academia and the parallel process whereby race, power, privilege, and white fragility are experienced by faculty as well as students and society at large.

    Course Objectives:
    • Introduce "Three Tiers of Recommendations” to introduce practices and policies for social work administration to close the racial gaps in academia 
    • Discuss white fragility, black rage, and the trauma response to historical oppression to advance clinical social work practice
    • Offer suggestions to advance the conversation around race, power, privilege in a brave classroom space
    • Offer practical ways to introduce content into any social work practice setting
