Tele-behavioral Health: Moving from Novice to Proficient
Presented by Barbara Perkins, MSW, LCSW
|
|
|
In the early days of the pandemic, NASW published: Coronavirus: 8 Ethical Considerations for Social Workers where the focus was on initiating services and minimizing the interruption of services for our clients. We have worked hard to move beyond the early days and many clinical social workers have put systems in place to prevent the interruption of services.
This session’s objectives are to:
- To review the 8 Ethical Considerations for Social Workers and discuss how we have moved beyond this level of service
- To describe an article that summarizes 7 domains of competence developed for behavioral health clinicians
- To discuss the 3 areas of proficiency,
- To provide a model for policy development for telebehavioral health practice
