    This presentation will provide an overview of Medicaid programs and services including those pertaining to the Addiction and Recovery Treatment Services (ARTS) benefit, care coordination in Medicaid Managed Care Plans, and maternal, women’s, and child health programs. The section on the ARTS benefit will review Medicaid services offered to individuals experiencing a substance use disorder. This section will also review current ARTS program outcomes and ways social workers can assist members in accessing services. An overview of the care coordination efforts that Medicaid Managed Care Organizations provide to members with medical and behavioral health complexities will also be presented. Included in this information will be tools that social workers can utilize to participate in care coordination and support Medicaid members in accessing care coordination services. Finally, this presentation will also highlight Medicaid programs targeting maternal, women’s and child health.
