Conversations with people affected by serious illness often challenge us. When done well, conversations can be deeply rewarding for clinicians and provide patients and their families with necessary guidance. This workshop will provide opportunities along the care continuum to engage patients and families, and will provide participants with “words that work” to allow you to communicate more efficiently and effectively.
