This workshop revives verbal and nonverbal communication within a group treatment or workgroup setting. Post-pandemic group treatments, pieces of training, and meetings have shifted.   The result of this shift causes practitioners an amount of doubt if their treatment is working adequately; managers are experiencing staff requiring more training.  How do we increase and improve our communication in groups?   The 4 Ps will give the necessary skills and knowledge to conduct successful group treatment and perform meaningful workplace communication meetings and workgroups.

In this training, we will review social group settings and dynamics.  Then, we will explore methods to revive group treatment engagement, workplace participation, and learning, and discuss innovative strategies that are measurable.
    I have created a technique called the 4 P’s.
    • Preparing for your group is essential to work on your needed material, equip yourself emotionally, and incorporate contingency plans.
    • Promoting your group treatment or workplace meeting creates the opportunity to target and reach the intended audience.
    • Persuading your audience happens 2xs; you will provide an attraction that invites curiosity and intrigue in your promotion.  Then, as your group attendance progresses, the content you present is influential to accomplish your goal.
    • Presenting your group material is now straightforward and you have the attention of an audience who feels your content benefits their need, learning, life, and professional growth.
