NASW NH is pleased to bring you this supervision training that will meet the requirements of the NH BMHP for those wishing to become approved supervisors for licensure candidates. This workshop is open to all who wish to attend from any state or clinical practice, but please note NH laws, regulations, and NH BMHP will be referenced. Primary focus will be on the clinical supervision for licensure candidates.
Clinical Supervision is an advanced practice skill that requires additional knowledge, expertise, and understanding for mental health clinicians. A developmental model that addresses adult learning needs and offers an integration of ways of teaching clinical practice will be utilized. Supervisory methods & techniques will be discussed & practiced. Ethical issues unique to the supervisory relationship will be addressed.
About the Presenter:
Lee Pozzi Rush is a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of New Hampshire where she has taught a supervision curriculum for internship supervisors for 19 years. She is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and maintains a clinical social work practice in Bedford, NH, where she has supervised individuals for licensure for many years. Lee is also a consultant to supervisors of MSW interns. In addition, she brings her many years of experience as an Employee Assistance Professional offering training & consultation to local employers/supervisors.
