The NASW Code of Ethics clearly states all social workers must have a plan for their client files if they are unable to continue services unexpectedly. They must designate a recipient to ensure clients and their confidential files are handled in an ethical manner. Does your designated recipient know how to access these files? This workshop will address the steps every clinician should take to prepare their designated recipient.
