DESCRIPTION:
This program will discuss the Crisis of Infertility, it’s psychological impact, the array of issues effecting couples undergoing assisted reproductive technology and how and why couples decide to move beyond infertility treatment to alternative paths to parenthood
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
1) Learn about the various reproductive technologies and their psychological impact on the couple; particularly the heterosexual but appreciate that much also applies to individuals and same sex couples.
2) To appreciate the complexity of the decision making that follows infertility treatment
3.) Be able to differentiate among the alternative paths to parenthood that are available
to couples and individuals
4.) Understand the different adoption options that are available.
