Course Description
The course will address self-injury in its historical and cultural concept. The nature, prevalence and demographics of the behavior will be discussed, followed by common etiological models of non-suicidal self-injury. Special consideration will be given to nonclinical populations that self-injure such as adolescents and young adults.

3) Learn the most common treatment models and treatment considerations for clinical practice.
