As the social work field continues to adapt to offering telehealth services, schools and college counseling centers will need to deliver effective telehealth practices to support students and clients. In particular, student support services and interpersonal practice teachings will need to be continually reassessed for appropriate expectations for engagement while also being increasingly flexible as students address varying academic and life challenges.

    Objectives:
    1. Summarize the risks and considerations of telepractice
    2. Explain necessary considerations for students in the virtual learning environment
    3. Identify strategies for building a virtual presence
Presented by Kristen Carney, LMSW & Shantalea Johns, LMSWThis webinar was originally held at the NASW-Michigan Annual Conference in April of 2021.
