    Workshop Description

Teaching your client how to heal their inner child can be a powerful and transformative journey that can help them heal past wounds and traumas, increase self-awareness and self-love, and live a more fulfilling life. By understanding the role of the inner child, identifying wounds, and practicing healing techniques, they can release negative beliefs and patterns that no longer serve them. Cultivating self-love, forgiveness, and healthy relationships can lead to a more fulfilling and joyful life.

    Learning Objectives

Following this course, participants will be able to:

    1. Identify common signs of inner child wounding and explain how early childhood experiences influence adult emotional responses.
    2. Differentiate between various inner child parts (e.g., playful child, wounded child, neglected child) and their emotional needs.
    3. Apply at least one grounding or self-soothing technique to support inner child regulation and healing.
    4. Compare and contrast therapeutic approaches such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and art therapy for use in inner child work.
    5. Design a personalized inner child care plan that incorporates affirmations, activities, and coping tools tailored to individual client needs.
