    This session aims to explore the privilege and unconscious bias on an individual and institutional level within the social work profession and institutions. We will spend time reflecting, expressing and examining personal experiences and action steps to create a more inclusive envelopment.

    Learning Objectives:

    • Reflect on unconscious biases and ways to overcome them through intentional actions
    • Express an increased awareness of how attitudes, beliefs, behavior and language can impact relationships
    • Examine the role of prejudice and advantage, and how these dynamics affect behavior, productivity, and feelings of belonging
    • Develop a shared language for thinking about and exploring issues of equality and inclusion.
