This workshop focuses on how to incorporate an understanding of neuroscience into play therapy sessions with grieving children. It includes the ages and stages of development and how they impact and influence the grieving process. This workshop helps the listener understand how the neuroscience guides the practical application of play therapy ideas with the grieving child. It also helps the therapist coach the surviving parent, step-parent and other caregivers in how to create a safe space for the child to grieve, process the loss and integrate emotional experiences.
