This course fulfills Illinois licensure requirements for an implicit bias training.

For information about CEU validation for IL licensees only, please consult the attached material "For IL Licensees Only - CEU Validation Instructions"  in the Materials tab.

Moving from allyship to solidarity involves interrogating the disparity between what we think we believe and the thoughts and feelings that operate on an unconscious level. This implicit bias awareness training was designed to develop anti-racist social work practitioners. It includes an explanation of implicit bias along with its causes and effects. Both general and social work practice examples are used to develop the skill of recognizing, interrupting, and mitigating implicit bias.
