A Survivor Informed Approach to Intimate Partner Violence
This workshop will use the stories of survivors to educate regarding effectively working with them. We will look at common is-sues and identify an assessment and goal-setting process that is IPV focused. Important elements of IPV therapy are ad-dressed and there will be opportunity for discussion of issues social workers have faced. The training ends with a survivor’s story of empowerment.
