Stress Management, Self-Care, and Resilience in the New Year
Presenter: Labibah Buraik1 CEU
Participants will engage in learning about various forms of stress, exploring ways of practicing self-care, and learning more about what resiliency really means for social workers. Join us in creating this space and thinking about how to care for ourselves in 2021 (and beyond), while creating your own emotional safety plan.
About the PresenterLabibah is a current MSW student at the University of St. Thomas School of Social Work. She is an intern at Metropolitan State University, where she provides individual therapy to an ethnically diverse population of students. Labibah is also a Council on Social Work Education Masters Minority Fellow and the MSW Student Representative on the NASW-MN Chapter's Board of Directors. Labibah's interests include barriers in education, mental health, and self-care in BIPOC communities.
