    Synopsis: This workshop is designed to address the unique challenges faced by mental health professionals in managing the emotional impact on their clients. Participants will explore the concepts of trauma, compassion fatigue, and burnout, gaining insight into their prevalence, warning signs, and effects on their client's personal and professional functioning. Through evidence-based strategies and practical tools, attendees will learn how to build resilience, enhance self-care practices for their clients, and create supportive work environments to maintain well-being and sustain long-term effectiveness in their lives.

    Learning Objectives: 
    Participants will be able to:
    1. Identify the psychological, emotional, and physical effects of trauma and burnout on clients, and recognize the signs and symptoms of distress in clients and colleagues.
    2. Analyze research related to client burnout in the mental health profession.
    3. Discuss effective strategies for self-care, stress management, and resilience-building to mitigate the risks associated with trauma and burnout in clients.
