Madison WI is known as a “tale of two cities” due to its stark racial and ethnic disparities. Learn about the City of Madison’s Equal Opportunities Commission’s efforts to create a Truth and Reconciliation process that engages BIPOC residents and organizations in a citywide effort to address and repair the harms perpetuated on BIPOC individuals and communities. Participants will learn about past and current efforts to use a Truth and Reconciliation process to advance equity and social justice. Learning Objectives
