Join Dana Schneider, PhD, LCSW, ACC, CMT-P, RYT 200 of Contemplative Insights to deepen your own personal practices through skill development, discussion, and practice. In this session, participants will be invited to engage in a series of mindfulness meditations, reflect on their experiences, and learn how to develop or deepen a sustaining personal practice. Participants will learn mindfulness practices which enhance awareness, compassion and interconnectedness, and identify how these practices help address stress and overwhelm. This session is appropriate for social workers and other mental health professionals who are interested in, or are already, incorporating mindfulness into their personal and professional lives. Resources for ongoing support and learning will be provided.
