    This course will help attendees understand the risks and benefits of TMS Therapy. It will explain why changes to current pharmacotherapy may be necessary prior to the administration of TMS therapy. We will discuss the difference between the FDA’s indication and the insurance companies medical necessity criteria. Lastly, we will determine which patient populations may benefit most, and which precautions should be taken with certain subsets. 

    William Sauvé, MD commenced his career in psychiatry with the U.S. Marines followed by service as a Division Officer of inpatient psychiatry at the Naval Medical Center of San Diego.  After his years of military practice, Dr. Sauvé relocated to Richmond, Virginia where he started a private psychiatric practice. He is currently Medical Director at Greenbrook TMS NeuroHealth Centers at the Rockville, Richmond and Charlottesville locations in Virginia.
