This interactive 2-hour workshop will explore the ethical, clinical, and practical implications of AI in social work and mental health practice. Using the NASW Code of Ethics as a foundation, participants will critically examine
confidentiality, competence, informed consent, and the therapeutic use of self in the age of learning
machines.
Through interactive and reflective exercises, attendees will gain perspective and strategies
for consideration in the use of AI in ways that honor client dignity, professional values, and clinical
judgment.
