This presentation will teach supervisees about the use of an “evidence-informed” approach in reflecting upon and empirically evaluating their own practice. The presenter will teach supervisees how to convert available agency data into practice-relevant information describing who they are serving, what services they are providing and what service outcomes are being achieved. It will also introduce feasible and acceptable new measures to answer questions about service outcomes that cannot be answered with existing data.
Interwoven throughout the curriculum will be a focus on cultural competency, racial equity, and diversity issues related to staff, clients and communities.
Measuring Outcomes of Gerontological Social Work Practice may be taken individually or as part of the 10 training modules for which the enrollee may earn the online SLA Certificate.
