This presentation will help supervisees to identify how their beliefs on aging influence their ethical practice. It will also teach supervisees to recognize and respond to ethical dilemmas. The presenter will recommend how to support supervisees in addressing the complex nature of self-determination in their practice. Interwoven throughout the curriculum will be a focus on cultural competency, racial equity, and diversity issues related to staff, clients and communities.
Supporting Staff in Ethical Practice may be taken individually or as part of the 10 training modules for which the enrollee may earn the online SLA Certificate.
