Join Dr. Ed Hanna and Tim Seip LSW, ACSW as they provide an in-depth look at the importance of advocacy surrounding legislation. They use mandated statewide training in race, discrimination, and bias to give social workers a glimpse of how the process functions. This presentation focuses on two specific bills, PA SB 163 and HB 1140, and how they have come to fruition. Also covered is the social work conceptual model, which is used to combat systemic problems.
