Mandated Reporter Training for Reporting Child Abuse and Neglect in Illinois
This virtual course fulfills state-required mandated reporter training requirements for the Illinois licensure cycle ending on February 28, 2022. It does NOT contain an implicit bias section as required by Illinois for the 2021–2023 licensure cycle, but this legal-focused training may still be used toward the 30-hour CEU requirement for Illinois license renewal. Developed by the NASW-Illinois Chapter and Monahan Law Group, LLC, this training will include the practical effects of the new statutory changes, the legal standards and documentation requirements regarding making a report, and the DCFS process and the consequences of making (or not making) a report.
