Today’s Federal funding Landscape: What it Means for Minnesota and What Social Workers Need to Know 1 CEU - Supervision or Macro Presenter:Leah Corey, LICSW & Kerry York-Myles
Federal funds account for approximately 35% of Minnesota’s annual budget and are essential to the State’s ability to deliver critical programs and services. Over the past year, federal administrative actions, new legislation, and shifts in federal fiscal policy have altered the funding landscape in ways that directly affect Minnesota’s budgetary stability and programmatic operations. This evolving environment can create uncertainty and confusion for program administrators, direct service professionals and the clients they serve. This session will provide a clear, plain-language overview of recent federal administrative actions, their potential implications for Minnesota programs, and where social workers can find reliable, up-to-date information on the evolving federal landscape.
Learning Objectives: 1. Participants will understand how recent federal actions are affecting Minnesota’s programs and services 2. Participants will learn where and how to access information to support organizations and clients with confidence
