The workshop introduces strategies to amplify your supervisees ability to recognize and respond to issues of self-neglect, exploitation and elder abuse in the context of self-determination and autonomy.
Interwoven throughout the curriculum will be a focus on cultural competency, racial equity, and diversity issues related to staff, clients and communities. | Heightening Awareness of Older Adult Self-Neglect and Mistreatment may be taken individually or as part of the 10 training modules for which the enrollee may earn the online SLA Certificate.
